Whitemoor Allotments Image Rotator

Has Spring – Sprung?

Well, the sun has been shining for once and we’re pretty sure that if you’re like us many of you will have packed a hearty lunch and headed off to your beloved allotment.

Isn’t it funny how a little toil seems so much easier and more pleasurable when the warming rays of the sun are lending a hand, as opposed to being lashed relentlessly by icy rain and wind.

The image below from a neighbouring garden holder is of an outstanding nectarine showing its fantastic pink blossom, a real invigorating treat to behold when the weather has been so bleak and dull of late.

If you’ve got your own little piece of springtime inspiration why not take a quick snap and email it to us  – web@whitemoorallotments.org
