We’ve joined the National Allotment Society, 20/2/2016

Whitemoor Garden Holders’ Association (WGHA) is now a paid up member of the National Allotment Society with whom we now have our site insurance, following a switch at the end of last year (note that this does not include insurance cover for individual plots). All our tenants are also members individually which is why you were asked for your consent when you paid your rent last October. There are various benefits to membership including a regular magazine that you can see in the shop.

Please visit their excellent website to find a wealth of useful resources and also access the Members’ Area for even more content. You’ll need the login and password for this which you can get from the shop on Saturday mornings.

The NAS website provides all kinds of information about allotments in general, lots of growing advice, news, events and campaigns, resources and downloads and the members’ area (where you need the login and password details).

The WGHA committee agreed to pay the membership for the current year without passing the fee on to tenants.
