Whitemoor Gardenholders Cooperative Society Ltd (WGCS) is pleased to welcome you (virtually) to Whitemoor Allotments in Nottingham, a 17 acre site next to Wilkinson Street tram stop, which lies in between the River Leen and the ring road. Whitemoor is a large, well-managed and popular allotment site that was first established in the 1920s when the land was donated by Shipstone’s Brewery.

The site is owned by Nottingham City Council and leased to WGCS who manage the site and the allotment tenancies. It’s not generally open to the public other than on certain open days, although visitors are welcome to come in to the allotment shop on Saturday mornings whilst the main gates are open. Nottingham Organic Gardeners also have an excellent demonstration allotment at Whitemoor.

We hope that this website gives you a flavour of Whitemoor. You are welcome to join our waiting list or get in touch with any questions and we’ll do our best to respond.
