Bonfire Party 2015!
Saturday 7th November 5.00pm
Main Car Park – Wilkinson Street
Please Help -There will be a work party from 10:00am to put up the small marquee onto the front of the community cabin.
During the morning we will also be moving wood, from gardens, to the main car park to build the bonfire. Any old branches, prunings or wood – now is the time to get rid of them!
Please note – there will be only limited parking on this morning.
Bonfire Night – on the night…
The bonfire event will start at 5.00pm. The bonfire will be lit after 5.30pm. If anyone brings fireworks, they are asked to light them from 7.00pm onwards as the younger children can be frightened.
Please bring food to share at the social. If you can let us know what you are bringing we can co-ordinate to avoid waste. Punch (alcoholic), mushy peas, baked potatoes and various soups have been offered so far, but more is needed – French stick, marg, samosas, cakes, puddings, cream, toffee for example.
Family and friends are more than welcome at this Whitemoor event.
